All things boarding and Banff!!!

I have three weeks left in the UK before I return to Canada and im soooo excited. Its been about 18 months since I was last in Banff and riding up at Lake Louise. Its such an awesome place and im stoked i get to go back for a whole season!!

I think about snowboarding a lot, small goals i want to achieve, tricks I want to land, new boards I want to try...But right before the season there is always one thought that annoys me. As silly as it is, i always get this niggling fear that i have some how forgotten how to snowboard. It happens every year without fail. I get images of me not be able to make simple turns and feeling awkward and unstable on easy slopes. How can this be i ask myself? Surely I know what im doing by now?...After pondering over this for a moment I realise how silly these thoughts are and shake them away, by thinking about that first turn, feeling my edges digging in and a flow of easy turns following. Perfect. More of this thinking makes me smile inside and eager to get on the snow to acheive my goals!

So heres to a great season in Banff and not starting at the beginning!!
