Where do you ride: Tamworth mainly

Fav resort: Whistler last season (apparently mega busy this year), possibly Orcieres Merlett, but haven't been there for a couple of seasons now.

Best trick: Indy (twice). Getting a straight air right (ie. remembering when to pop - not too early on a kicker, not to late on a drop off *sigh*)

Most embarrassing moment(s): asking Lesley McKenna for her ID at the Whistler Snowboard Championships. Twice. Despite the Scottish flag on the board....

Where do you ride: Tahoe Area. We move around so I can't really say one resort. Mt.Rose, Kirkwood, Bear Valley, Diamond Peak, Northstar....
Fav resort: I have a few...It's a tie between Mt.Rose, Bear Valley and Kirkwood.

Best trick: 50/50, Boardslide, 180...NOT all together. Those are just my best tricks. I'm not great...just OK. lol!

Snowboarding Crew: My dad, Tim and Sophia (The Enimal or just Soph).

Tell them horror stories!
Most of my friends now wear helmets after my friend was sat on the side of the piste (as recommended when trying to stay out of the way!) and a boarder ollied from the off-piste and landed on her head.

Dave attempted to carve down a mogul field in Tignes and caught several edges, and made a huge dent in the snow with his head - he reckons if he'd not been wearing a helmet he'd have been out cold.

I agree with the helmet thing!!! I nag all my mates re wearing a lid... seen to many serious accidents (and one death :( ) which were preventable had they been wearing a helmet!

i am sorry this is a bit late in the day (work keeps inturrupting my viewing) but thank you for the comments on helmets. if you need helmets you could approach the snowdome and ask how much it would cost to hire some of their helmets - they're old and sweaty skate helmets but they would still do. you can normally rent them in resort as well, of the hire company (so ask them as well). when we went away in march my mate had to traipse around everywhere to get a man-sized helmet, because it was in the school holidays, but he managed one in the end. cost a tenner for the week or something (but it was a bright yellow cannonball).
incidentally, some of the tour operators offer free kids helmet hire. (but they don't mention it in the safety leaflet they send out and then they warn parents not to let kids jump of balconies!)
anyway, try tamworth, you never know.

Stircrazy - how do you like your Link bindings? I hired some in Whistler last weekend and honestly they were the worst bindings I've ever used, but maybe that's because they were hire ones?

I dont seem to have a problem with them, but to be honest ive never used any others.
