Auto Agogo
M
K2 Fling 146 2010, Burton Emerald Boots
The Auto Agogo is a super comfortable binding from the ankle straps, throught the highback, to the baseplate. The harshmellow absorbs very well the chatter while riding. I used to have pains in my front foot that were obviously due to my previous bindings which were Burton Stiletto size M but didn't fit as snugly, so I overtightened them. Ovearll the Agogo's have a narrower profile and fit better my boots size 7. Weight wise, the bindings are average. In terms of flex the Agogo is a solid versatile binding. This said, it's not on the stiff side allowing for freestyle. I had a lot of fun in the park and never felt the bindings being bulky or rigid, no feet pain or discomfort whatsoever. Yet the Agogo is quite supportive for riding powder and speed runs. It is also very responsive and makes you feel in control when initiating or exiting turns especialy at hight speed. If you've ridden for some time now and know what you want from your gear, the Agogo's are a great and functional binding to step up, if you're ready to invest a little more. The auto ratcheting system is also pretty cool. It might take some time for the preliminary adjustment, but once done getting in and out the bindings takes like 10 seconds. It also prevents you from over tighting. The ankle straps move to the side to make stepping in even easier. The bindings come with extra pairs of base plates and ankle straps, plus they seem to be compatible with 3-hole mounting system. Normally color shouldn't be so important but the blue ones really got me!
None so far
yes
The Agogo's come actually a bit pricier than average, but so far they're worth it. They are super comfortable and solid, functional bindings and they match pretty well performance wise with the K2 Fling. The auto ratcheting system is a bliss and the blue ones are untouchable!

Thanks, Lorene :) They were a blind buy, and so was my K2 Fling, so I hope my reviews will be helpful for other ladies who don't have the chance to test them:)
