Elena Hight joins Volcom team

We told you a while back that Elena Hight was changing teams and she has now arrived at Volcom. She’s been with Volcom streetwear since October 2005 and has now joined the team as a full snow team member.

"The best thing about the Volcom snow team is the family structure and to have such amazing people around me. I love the tight knit program that Volcom has and I feel so fortunate to be able to experience this and have the opportunity to fully embrace it," said Elena.

Elena was Transworld Snowboarding’s Rookie of the Year in 2008, placed sixth in the halfpipe at the 2006 Winter Olympics and won the Vans Cup halfpipe contest in 2007 and 2008.

 "We are really excited to have Elena on Volcom. She is everything we look for in a snowboarder. She is extremely talented and dedicated to progression. I still can't believe how much she has accomplished at such a young age. We look forward to see what she does next," said Billy Anderson, Volcom Snow Brand Manager.
